craftsmen, with which to develop your designs,
create accurate patterns and moulds and produce
components large and small to your specification,
quickly efficiently and to budget.

We offer a service that is always tailored to your
needs, guaranteeing you a quality product every
time, as the list of our satisfied customers can
testify. We work from full drawings or your parts and
can reverse engineer to ensure you can support
your customer’s needs for the life of the vehicle or
machine or building!.

Over four decades we have built up expertise in the
commercial and specialist vehicle market, together
supplying also the process machinery, and service
sectors offering GRP panels and components on a
personal service from design to finished product.
We are backed by our engineering facility which
can be utilised for bracketry and for handling of
larger moulds and linings for bigger vehicles.
We also store production moulds, all important in
GRP manufacture. We have a large site positioned
strategically within 5 miles of the M6 with daily
deliveries to most parts of the UK.

COMPANY PROFILE

HISTORY
In 1969 John R Boone Ltd started a division of the
company to manufacture in a new plastic, which was
fibre glass (or glass fibre as it is also known in the
industry). We worked closely with some of the
leading names in the Car and Commercial Vehicle
industry to develop, manufacture and supply parts
for their vehicles. We still do today, some four
decades later, and this is a testament to our
quality and service.

PRODUCT RANGE
John R Boone - GRPlite design and manufacture
high quality GRP components. Our range of GRP
products is vast and we manufacture components
for Companies who produce, Trains, Commercial
Vehicles, Ambulances, Taxis, Crew Cab Vehicles,
Buses, Coaches and specialist vehicles.
Full cabs, deflectors, fairings, bulkheads, bumpers,
dashboards, wheel arches, side skirts, air intakes,
grilles. This is only a tiny sample of what we
can manufacture.

John R Boone also offer a wide service to industry
both architectural and specialist manufacturing,
e.g. Roof domes & panels, fascias, anything from
ornate canopies, to medical scanner hoods to full
size kiosks and specialist structures.

We also manufacture: tanks and tank linings,
chimney liners, covers, flumes, etc all to suit the
chemical & water treatment industries. In addition
we offer bespoke - machinery guards, pump covers
and safety covers for all types of industrial use.
